Where Caitlyn Jenner and Kim Kardashian stand after ‘calculated’ fame remark

Caitlyn Jenner didn’t intended to shade her former stepdaughter Kim Kardashian when she said the Skims founder “calculated” her way to fame.

Sources close to the “I Am Cait” star, who is seemingly attempting to walk back her commentary featured in the forthcoming docuseries “House of Kardashian,” told TMZ that she regrets using the term and didn’t intend it as a diss.

Jenner’s regrets reportedly have been relayed to Kardashian, and she explained that the dramatic trailer had been edited to make her comments seem more controversial than they actually were.

“Kim knows Caitlyn’s heart and intentions were positive. They’re close and have spoken about this,” a source tells Page Six.

“All is good and well.”

As the production company previously announced, subjects featured in the highly anticipated three-part series had no editorial control — unlike Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”

Another source told the outlet that Jenner, 73, is proud of Kardashian’s accomplishments.

Released last week, the dramatic trailer featured Jenner, “Girls Gone Wild” founder and Kardashian family friend Joe Francis and more weighing in on the reality stars’ methods to gain fame and power.

The Skims founder reportedly received the message and understood.

“Kimberly calculated from the beginning, ‘How do I become famous?’” the Olympian shared, with Francis suggesting that Kardashian’s 2000s sex tape with her ex Ray J was a “means to an end.”

“It was to create a controversy,” Francis, 50, added.

Caitlyn, who was married to matriarch Kris Jenner for 23 years, said in a statement at the time of the trailer’s release that she was “happy” to shed light on her family’s “prowess” in “captivating the world’s attention.”

“House of Kardashian” airs in the UK on Oct. 8.

“I am incredibly proud of all my children and stepchildren,” she added.

The rest of the Kardashian-Jenners have not publicly addressed the docuseries.
