Jana Kramer once went on a disastrous date with Brody Jenner.
“It was the worst blind date with me and Brody,” the “One Tree Hill” alum recalled in Monday’s episode of her “Whine Down” podcast.
“Like, the absolute worst. And the worst thing about it was probably one of my most embarrassing moments was that night.”
Kramer, now 39, recalled meeting Heidi Montag, who joined her for the podcast episode, and the “Hills” star’s now-husband, Spencer Pratt, “a long, long time ago” at “some club” on Sunset Blvd., where she and Jenner, also 39, were ultimately set up.
While the “I Got the Boy” singer remembers Montag, 36, being “so sweet” on the double date, she and the “Princes of Malibu” alum were “just not vibing at all” at dinner.
“[Jenner] said something to me, and I was like, ‘That’s it. I’m leaving,'” Kramer recounted, noting that the restaurant had mirrors all over the walls.
“I go marching toward the exit sign. Well, little do I know, the exit sign walks me right into … the reflection ’cause it’s all a f–king mirror. So I slam, I walk right into the mirror.”
The country music star admitted the whole ordeal was “horrible.”
“It was so embarrassing, and that’s the last I saw of you or [Jenner],” she told Montag, adding that she did not turn around to see if anyone saw her blunder but that the restaurant felt like being in a “fun house.”
Kramer hasn’t had an easy time finding love. She was married to Michael Gambino for less than a year in 2004, but they ended things when he nearly strangled her to death.
She was then married to her on-off boyfriend of three years, Johnathon Schaech, for just 12 days before filing for divorce in 2010.

Kramer went on to wed Mike Caussin in 2015, but they separated a year later when he cheated multiple times and ended up seeking treatment for sex addiction.
She and the former NFL player, 36, ended up reuniting, but it wasn’t long before Kramer filed for divorce in 2021 and ended things for good.
“‘It’s time,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “As I try to make sense of a reality I never wanted to believe could be possible again, those words have now become a reality. I’ve fought, y’all. I’ve loved hard. I’ve forgiven. I’ve put the work in. I’ve given everything I have, and now I have nothing else to give.”
Kramer and Caussin share two kids: daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4.
Things seem to be looking up for Kramer lately, as she just made her red carpet debut with new boyfriend Allan Russell at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards last month.
She and the Scottish former soccer player, 42, have been serious since at least January, when they went Instagram-official.
Jenner, for his part, is currently dating pro surfer Tia Blanco, who is pregnant with his first child, a baby girl.
The son of Caitlyn Jenner and Linda Thompson was previously in a long-term relationship with Kaitlynn Carter, but they ended things in August 2019.
Meanwhile, Montag and Pratt have been married since November 2008 and share two sons: Gunner, 5, and 4-month-old Ryker.
